Both Fabric API and Meteor Client must be in your mods folder for Trouser-Streak to run. ViaFabricPlus is recommended for older server support.
Fabric API
The core library mod that hooks into Minecraft and allows Fabric mods to communicate with the game. Trouser-Streak and Meteor Client will not load without this installed.
Meteor Client
The base utility client that powers the entire module GUI, HUD, and system hooks. Trouser-Streak is loaded directly as an addon inside Meteor.
ViaFabricPlus
Please try ViaFabricPlus to connect to old servers from a new version client. Fixes protocol mismatches and lets your 1.21 client connect to older 1.8, 1.12.2, 1.16, and 1.20 anarchy servers.
What Makes Trouser-Streak Different
No bloated fluff. Every module is tailored for base hunters, griefers, and anarchy players.
NewerNewChunks & Base Hunting
The original palette-based chunk state tracing method. Tells you whether a chunk was previously loaded or generated in older versions by inspecting server packet palettes. Also scans for player trails, chests, and unnatural block placements to make finding stashes faster.

Automates the entire lavacasting process. Builds massive cobblestone mountains and pyramids on auto-pilot without having to manually place lava and water buckets. Also comes with combat tools like SpearKill, MaceKill, and optimized fast-mining.

What is Trouser-Streak?
Trouser-Streak is a free, open-source addon for Meteor Client — the leading Fabric-based Minecraft utility client. Developed by Mountains of Lava Inc., it brings a focused set of modules for base hunting, griefing, and anarchy server play to players on Minecraft 1.21.4 and 1.21.11.
The mod's flagship feature, NewerNewChunks, uses palette-based chunk state tracing — a technique that reads block palette data from server network packets to determine whether a chunk has been loaded or modified by players before. It's the most technically accurate new-chunk detection method available and has become the go-to tool for base hunting on servers like 2b2t, 9b9t, and Constantiam.
Beyond chunk tracing, Trouser-Streak includes AutoMountain for fully automated lavacasting, SpearKill and MaceKill for combat exploits, TrouserOP for operator/creative world destruction utilities, and the complete TrouserHunting suite with stash detection and player trail analysis.
The entire addon loads directly into Meteor Client's existing GUI — no separate launcher, no extra config. Drop the .jar in your mods folder alongside Meteor and Fabric API, and every Trouser-Streak module shows up in the Meteor module list automatically.
NewerNewChunks vs. NewChunks — What's the Difference?
The original NewChunks algorithm flags chunks that have never been generated, based on whether a chunk was sent in "full" or "delta" format by the server. Trouser-Streak's NewerNewChunks goes further: it analyzes the actual block palette inside each chunk packet, looking at the composition and ordering of the palette entries to determine the chunk's modification history. This means it can detect not just unvisited chunks but also chunks that have been visited and modified in older Minecraft versions — a crucial distinction when hunting on servers with years of history like 2b2t.
How AutoMountain Automates Lavacasting
Lavacasting is the process of building large cobblestone formations by alternating lava and water sources — a foundational griefing technique on anarchy servers. Doing it by hand is slow and repetitive. AutoMountain handles the entire process automatically: it manages bucket refills, handles water flow interaction, adjusts placement positioning based on the target structure shape, and keeps running unattended until the mountain reaches the configured height. The result is a 200+ block cobblestone mountain built without touching the keyboard.
TrouserOP: What Happens When You Have Creative Mode
On servers where you have operator access or creative mode permissions, TrouserOP provides tools to mass-remove terrain, place blocks at scale, spawn and remove entities, and stress-test server limits. These modules are designed for server administration testing and large-scale world manipulation scenarios.
Trouser-Streak vs. Other Meteor Client Addons
Compared to addons like Meteor Rejects, Orion, and Banana+, Trouser-Streak is uniquely focused on anarchy server tools. It originated the palette-based NewerNewChunks detection method (since adopted and referenced by others), created AutoMountain lavacasting automation, and provides the most complete set of base-hunting modules in any Meteor addon. If your goal is finding bases or destroying them, Trouser-Streak is the one addon built specifically for that workflow.
